Restore Function, Refresh Your Smile
January is a natural time to reset priorities and refocus on your health and confidence. Your smile affects how you chew, speak, and feel each day. Smile design improves function and appearance together so your teeth work comfortably and look natural.
At Silva Dentistry, we begin with a careful assessment of your bite, tooth wear, and gum health, then develop a plan that supports long-term comfort and stability. We address concerns that may have been building over time, like chipped edges, worn teeth, shifting alignment, or aging dental work that may affect how your bite functions.
Smile design rebuilds proper shape and function so you can chew with confidence, while refining tooth size, contour, and shade for a balanced, natural look. Your plan may include bonding, veneers, crowns, whitening, or orthodontic alignment. We explain options clearly, review timelines, and make sure every step supports both function and appearance. After treatment, we fine-tune the bite so your teeth meet comfortably and your restorations feel stable and natural.

What to Expect from a Smile Design Consultation
You begin with a consultation and records visit. We review and reestablish your goals, study photos, and evaluate your bite, then create a clear treatment roadmap. During treatment, we monitor comfort, fit, and appearance at each visit. After completion, routine visits help protect your investment and keep your smile performing well.
Start the New Year Right
If your teeth feel worn, chipped, or uncomfortable, or if your bite has changed over time, a smile design consultation can help you understand your options. Call our office or request an appointment online. We will work with you to create a plan that supports comfort, stability, and confidence as you begin the new year.
Coming Soon: The Solea Laser
Starting next month, Silva Dentistry will introduce the Solea All-Tissue Laser, a technology that allows many treatments to be completed more comfortably, often with anesthesia-free fillings. Solea can be used for hard and soft tissue procedures, periodontal therapy, airway-focused treatments, and more, helping reduce discomfort and support minimally invasive care.
Our team will be happy to discuss whether Solea is a good fit for your treatment at your next visit.
Local Spotlight: Abenaki Ski Area
Our January local spotlight features Abenaki Ski Area, a favorite Wolfeboro winter destination. Abenaki offers a relaxed, community-focused place to enjoy winter close to home. The hill features seven trails from beginner to advanced, plus a terrain park, and it’s smaller and less crowded than big resorts, which means shorter lines and a laid-back atmosphere.
With roots going back to 1936, Abenaki is the oldest community-run ski area in the country and one of the oldest ski areas in the United States. A rustic on-site lodge gives you a warm place to take a break between runs, and you can check hours, passes, and rentals online before your visit.

What’s new this season
- New LED lighting for night skiing on Main Hill and Twister
- Lift tickets under $20
- An expanded terrain park with jumps, rails, and boxes
